St. Francis de Sales Sr. Sec. School, Badnera, is an educational institution inspired by the missionary vision of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS), popularly known as the Fransalians. The Fransalian congregation was founded in 1838 by Father Peter Mermier, whose vision was to serve God and humanity through faith, education, compassion, and service. Following an appeal from the Pope, the Fransalians came to India in 1845 and gradually established their mission through education and social service in different parts of the country. Inspired by this legacy, SFS School, Badnera, was established to provide quality education while nurturing character, values, discipline, and a spirit of service among young people. The school is managed by the Fransalian Vikas Society and guided by the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales. Over the years, the institution has steadily grown into a prominent centre of education, providing opportunities for academic, cultural, sporting, and holistic development. The school has continually strengthened its academic programmes and infrastructure to meet the changing needs of students and the evolving demands of modern education.
